Heart Beet Smoothie

Makes 2 smoothies 


Chia Pudding Ingredients
1 cup Milk or non-dairy milk of choice
2 Tbsp. Chia Seeds


Smoothie Ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
1 cup Frozen Raspberries
¼ cup Frozen Strawberries
¼ cup Cooked beet (roasted or steamed)
½ cup Harvest Bay Original Coconut Water
¼ cup Milk or non-dairy milk of choice
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
Option: ½ inch Fresh ginger / dash of ginger powder



In a small bowl or cup, mix all ingredients for the chia pudding and stir/whisk well. Let sit for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chia pudding has thickened. Spoon into the bottom of 2 cups for drinking. 


In a blender, combine all ingredients for the smoothie. Note: more beet can be added if you enjoy the taste of beets. This recipe is designed to have a balanced flavor with a slight beet taste. If the taste of beet is off-putting for you, add some fresh ginger to brighten the flavor. Blend until smooth and gently spoon into 2 glasses, right on top of the chia pudding. Garnish with fresh fruit, coconut, or even granola.
